My Paperbark Small Formats, Gallery Formats and my Watercolour art works are designed specifically for that show stopping piece that creates conversation, brings in nature and inspiration into the home.

Over the last 20 years, I have worked with so many beautiful people, photographers, creatives and commercial businesses to bring their visions alive.

We work together with your idea and create a composition and illustration that translates beautifully to highlight the hero.

I can work from one particular reference or multiple. I also design and create straight from the heart, so if you don't have a specific reference we can still make the magic happen.

I work with soft pallets and negative space, with nature based subjects. Predominantly Australian Native Flora and Fauna extended to Mother Ocean, however if you have anything else in mind - Let's chat about it!

Lead Times: 4 - 6 week depending on the artwork - if you need your piece sooner please let me know as soon as possible!

Paperbark Works.

All of Skye Prudence's original paperbark artworks, are thoughtfully free hand drawn and painted illustrations, with love and intent. The artworks are illustrated with archival ink and watercolour onto Australian Paperbark, collected from the ground around her mum & uncle's Paperbark Trees. 

Each piece of bark is carefully chosen to suit it's individual frame. Focussing on composition, balance and texture. The artwork is then created to suit the shape of the bark and personally signed in archival ink. Each piece is pressed and preserved between two pieces of high grade acrylic or glass for small format which is durable for shipping and preserves the artwork for longevity. 

Gallery Format:

Custom paperworks can be created to any size to fit any space. I have a wonderful framer who has designed a frame especially for these works in order to capture the floating look showcasing the raw edges of the artwork.

All works are illustrated in black archival ink and the choice of watercolour if desired.

I work with a local gallery framer and we have designed a signature frame specifically for these larger works. The frame is float designed and made from sustainable Tasmanian Oak. The frame is built and left unassembled. I take it back to my studio and press the paperbark between the acrylic and pin the frame together with a nail gun myself. This allows me to complete the composition of the paperbark perfectly.

The acrylic sheets are shatter proof, durable and UV protective, they enables the artwork to be shipped safely at a large scale to every corner in Australia. The back of the frame is fitted with a D ring fitting system, which eliminates any visible mounting system through the floating frame. These also enable you to hang the works securely to any wall. 

An authenticity certificate is included, as well as a care card for your art piece and the acrylic.

PLEASE NOTE: Frames are fitted with a small D ring on each side to hang directly onto your wall. You will need to use a wall pin for each side to hang. I would recommend using wall hardware that holds an overall weight of 20kgs for piece of mind. You can also use a piece of framing wire to create a loop in each D ring, to make hanging easier. Small Format:

All works are illustrated in black archival ink and the choice of watercolour if desired.

Artwork floating frames come in three fixed sizes to choose from. The frames are hand built made from solid timber with a white oak timber veneer. The artwork is pressed between two panes of glass. These frames are designed to sit on a shelf, they don't come with hanging hardware on the back. However you can simply pop a picture hook in the wall and hang directly from the frame lip or fix hardware to the back of the frame if preferred. I can guide you through this in my detail if required.

An authenticity certificate is included, as well as a care card for your art piece and the frame.

Brass Specimen Hangers:

All works are illustrated in black archival ink and the choice of watercolour if desired.

The artwork is pressed between two panes of glass in a brass frame. The frame comes complete with a brass chain to hang from any wall. These frames are very light and can simply be held by a dressmaking pin or alike. 

The make a beautiful mini gallery wall when hung in multiples.

Large format works above A2 will be shipped via courier. I will always send progress photographs along the journey, to make sure your vision is captured.

Watercolour Works.

Commissions are currently open for my Watercolour paper works.

A 50% deposit is required when the works begin and the remaining amount required once the works are complete and the artwork approved. Shipping is included in the overall quote. Large format works above A2 will be shipped via courier. I will always send progress photographs along the journey, to make sure your vision is captured.

These works come unframed, however if you are wanting any framing advice, please let me know. If you live in Victoria, I have a couple of talented art framers up my sleeve I can refer you too.
